(A) Conn. Gen. Stat. § 19a-37 regarding water supply wells requiring official approval is adopted. In the case of a non-public water supply well, the owner shall have the well sampled, after disinfection and all chlorine has been dissipated, for bacteriological, physical and sanitary chemical examination.
(B) Approval of the local Director of Health or his or her duly authorized representative of the results of the examination shall be obtained before the well is used.
(C) A certificate of occupancy shall not be issued until the approval has been obtained.
(D) A fee of $10 dollars will be charged for each well permit issued.
