(A) By town meeting action of the legislative body of the town so convened on August 15, 1977, the town hereby authorizes the First Selectman to enter into agreements and sign contracts with the state for resident state trooper services.
(B) The First Selectman has continuing authority to sign contracts as long as the resident state trooper line item is a part of future approved annual town budgets.
