355.08 GUEST PERMITS.
   (a)    The City Manager or designee is authorized upon application to issue parking permits to residents of a residential permit parking area for use of a bona fide transient guests therein. Such guest permit shall have all the rights and privileges of a regular permit. The City Manager or designee is authorized to issue, based on the designation of the district, one of the following types of guest permits.
      (1)    One class of guest permit shall be permanently held and issued to the holder of a residential parking permit so long as that parking permit is valid. No more than two guest permits will be issued to any residential living unit.
      (2)    A second class of guest permit shall be a guest permit valid for no more than seven (7) days from the date of issuance. No residential living unit shall be issued more than two guest permits at any one time.
   (b)   Those Oxford residents who reside within a designated residential permit parking area and who are at least sixty-five or legally handicapped shall be entitled to two permanent parking permits.
