The Chief of Police shall designate some members of the Police Division or other persons to collect the coins, tokens, and cash deposited in the meters. Such designated person shall also be responsible for retrieving all credit card transactions via a download process from the multi-space meters, and delivering such transactions to a processing office as established by the Chief of Police. In collecting such coins, tokens, or cash, the person designated shall remove and deliver the same, along with the audit reports from the multi-space meters, to the City Auditor who shall deposit the same to the credit of the General Fund.
