141.05 TERM LIMITS FOR MEMBERS SERVING ON BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS.
   (a)    Appointments by City Council to Boards or Commissions of the City shall be subject to the following term limits:
      (1)    Boards or Commissions with two (2) year terms shall be limited to four (4) consecutive terms.
      (2)   Boards or Commissions with three (3) year terms shall be limited to three (3) consecutive terms.
      (3)   Boards or Commissions with four (4) year terms or five (5) year terms shall be limited to two (2) consecutive terms.
   (b)    In the event that a member of a Board or Commission is not eligible for re-appointment due to term limits, that member may still be considered for re-appointment thirty (30) days after the expiration of his or her term if there are no other qualified applicants for the position. Such a re-appointment, in excess of the term limits set forth herein, shall be restricted to one (1) additional term.
   (c)    After a member of a Board or Commission has served the number of terms allowed per this ordinance, he or she may be considered for appointment again to the Board or Commission on which he or she previously served after one (1) year of non-service on that particular Board or Commission.
