The Engineering Division shall be administered by the City Engineer, appointed by the City Manager, who shall be responsible to the Service Director for all work having to do with the review, planning, design and administration of all engineering related activities relative to the City's infrastructure and utility service area. The City Engineer shall perform such other duties as may be prescribed by Ordinance or required by the Service Director. The City Engineer shall exercise supervision over all engineers, engineer-in-training, and engineering aide and such other employees or assistants as are authorized by Council and the City Manager.
