The Wastewater Collection Division shall be administered by the Wastewater Collection Manager, appointed by the City Manager, who shall be responsible to the Service Director for all work having to do with the maintenance activities of the wastewater collection system. The Wastewater Collection Manager ensures prevention of overflows and bypasses of wastewater into the environment. The Manager shall perform such other duties as may be prescribed by Ordinance or required by the Service Director. The Wastewater Collection Manager shall exercise supervision over all service workers within the division and such other employees or assistants as are authorized by Council and the City Manager.
