The Wastewater Treatment Plant Division shall be administered by the Wastewater Plant Manager, appointed by the City Manager, who shall be responsible to the Service Director for all work having to do with the proper discharge and disposal of products associated with wastewater treatment. The Wastewater Plant Manager shall perform such other duties as may be prescribed by Ordinance or required by the Service Director. The Wastewater Plant Manager shall exercise supervision over all operators, plant mechanics, lab technician and service workers within the division and such other employees or assistants as are authorized by Council and the City Manager.
