The Water Plant Division shall be administered by the Water Plant Manager, appointed by the City Manager, who shall be responsible to the Service Director for all work having to do with the quality and quantity of water produced by the City. The Water Plant Manager shall perform such other duties as may be prescribed by Ordinance or required by the Service Director. The Water Plant Manager shall exercise supervision over all operators, utility maintenance technician and utility meter reader and such other employees or assistants as are authorized by Council and the City Manager.
