(a) The City Attorney, Clerk of Council and Finance Director shall serve for an indefinite term of office and may be removed at any time by majority vote of all members elected to Council.
(b) The City Manager shall serve for an indefinite term and may be removed at any time in accordance with the provisions of Charter Section 4.04.
(c) Members of boards and commissions shall serve for a definite term and may be removed before the expiration of such term only in accordance with the provisions of Charter Section 8.10.
(d) Officers and employees in the exempt service who are appointed by the City Manager serve for an indefinite term and may be removed or otherwise disciplined at the discretion of the Manager.
(e) The City Manager shall suspend, demote or dismiss any officer or employee in the classified service only for just and reasonable cause.
