141.03 PROCEDURE FOR APPOINTMENT TO SERVE ON BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS.
   (a)   (1)   At least forty-five days prior to the expiration of the term of a board or commission member, the City Manager is authorized to advertise for applications for appointment on the Board or Commission in the vacant position.
      (2)   Council shall accept applications at any time from citizens wishing to serve on boards and commissions.
   (b)   The applicants who wish to serve on a board or a commission shall have their applications reviewed by Council in Executive Session at a meeting scheduled at least seven days prior to the vacancy of the Board or Commission position.
   (c)   Any current board or commission member, who wants to be reappointed, shall also comply with these procedures and make application.
   (d)   Council shall notify each Board or Commission member in writing their term is expiring and advising the member to reapply if desired.
