113.02 ADOPTION OF RESOLUTIONS.
   (a)   Council on recommendation of the City Manager and Law Director, hereby formally enacts reading by title for adoption of resolutions. The City Manager and Law Director recommend resolutions be enacted on vote after reading of the title once. This recommendation is pursuant to the authority provided Council by Section 1.02 and Section 3.01 of the City of Oxford Charter.
   (b)   Council hereby ordains that resolutions be read by title once and thereafter on motion duly made and seconded, be voted upon.
   (c)   The City Manager further recommends Council authorize Resolutions to be placed in the Consent Agenda and to be adopted as a part of the Consent Agenda. This recommendation is for Resolutions to be placed under the Consent Agenda item and to be adopted by Motion without reading by title as otherwise provided for by Ordinance. The City Manager's recommendation is that resolutions of general recurring matters be adopted as part of the Consent Agenda to more efficiently manage Council's business.
   (d)   Council further accepts the recommendation of the City Manager and hereby authorizes the adoption of Resolutions which are placed as an item in the Consent Agenda, be adopted on motion for adoption of the Consent Agenda items, without reading of the title of the Resolution. Those Resolutions not adopted as a Consent Agenda item will be acted upon after reading of the title by Motion.
