SECTION 11.01 SUCCESSION AND VESTED RIGHT.
   The City of Oxford, under this Charter, is hereby declared to be the legal successor of the Village of Oxford, under the general laws of the State of Ohio; and as such it has title to all property, real, personal, and mixed, owned by its predecessor, including all moneys on deposit and all taxes in process of collection together with all accounts receivable and rights of action. Adoption of the Charter or any amendments of it shall not impair rights vested in the City nor discharge any liability previously incurred by the City.
