7-2-4: FUTURE PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY DEDICATIONS:
   A.    Suggested By Person Proposing Dedication: Names for future right of way dedications shall be suggested to the board of commissioners by the person or persons proposing the dedication. If such suggestions are consistent with the standards provided herein, the board shall name the right of way in accordance with the suggestion. If the suggestion is not consistent with the standards provided herein, names will be assigned in accordance with the provisions of this chapter.
   B.    On Alignment And Linked To Existing Road: If a proposed right of way is on alignment with, and linked to, so as provide a continuation of an existing road, the name of the existing road may be applied to the new right of way.
   C.    On Alignment But Not Linked To Existing Road: Where the proposed right of way is on alignment with, but not linked to, an existing road, the name of the existing road may be applied to the new right of way, providing no confusion is created because of the interruption of continuation for linking with the existing road.
   D.    Distinct Change Of Direction: Where the new right of way makes such a distinct change of direction that confusion will be caused by assigning the name of the existing road, a new name will be assigned. (Ord. 02-01, 3-11-2002)
