A. Authority To Establish: The board of commissioners, after consulting with any appropriate representative(s) from the county road department or the county sheriff's office are hereby authorized to establish and alter specific limits on vehicle weights throughout the county. The board may consider any traffic investigation or study when establishing such weight limits.
B. Weight Limit Schedule: The established vehicle weight limits for the county will be in accordance with the weight limit schedule adopted by resolution of the board of commissioners. A copy of current vehicle weight limits on any county road is on file in the office of the clerk of the district court. Any section of road not specifically identified for a weight limit shall be governed by the weight restrictions set forth in Idaho Code. (Ord. 05-03, 8-1-2005, eff. 10-1-2005)
