A. Authority To Establish: Designated Limits: The board of commissioners, after consulting with any appropriate representative(s) from the county road department or the county sheriff's office, are hereby authorized to establish and alter specific speed limits throughout the county. The board may consider any traffic investigation or study when establishing such speed limits.
B. Speed Limit Schedule: The established speed limits for the county will be in accordance with the speed limit schedule adopted by resolution of the county board of commissioners. A copy of current speed limits on any road identified for such specified limit is on file in the office of the clerk of the district court. Any section of road not specifically identified for a speed limit shall be governed by the speed restrictions set forth in Idaho Code. (Ord. 05-03, 8-1-2005, eff. 10-1-2005)
