5-3-2: BOATING ON SNAKE RIVER NEAR C.J. STRIKE PROJECT:
   A.    Purpose: The purpose of this section is to promote and protect the public safety and welfare below Idaho Power Company's C.J. Strike project due to abrupt changes in flow due to spill or change in flow through the C.J. Strike project turbines.
   B.    Definition: "Boat" includes all motorized and nonmotored watercraft including, but not limited to, jet and propellered watercraft of any type or size, jet skis, canoes, rowboats, sailboats, paddleboats, windsurfers and inflatable devices.
   C.    Prohibited Acts: It shall be unlawful for any person, other than law enforcement or employees of Idaho Power, to engage in any type of boating activity on the Snake River between the dam at the C.J. Strike project and the bridge immediately downstream from the dam. (Ord. 01-01, 6-11-2001)
   D.    Penalty: Engaging in boating activity in the Snake River at C.J. Strike dam and bridge immediately downstream from the dam is an infraction subject to penalty as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code. (Ord. 01-01, 6-11-2001; amd. 2010 Code)
