ORDINANCE NO. 7-2012

   AN ORDINANCE ENACTING AND ADOPTING A SUPPLEMENT TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF OWINGSVILLE, KENTUCKY.

   WHEREAS, American Legal Publishing of Cincinnati, Ohio, has prepared the 2012 S-7 Supplement to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Owingsville, which supplement contains all ordinances of a general and permanent nature enacted by the city since the prior supplement to the Code of Ordinances of this municipality; and

   WHEREAS, American Legal Publishing Corporation has recommended the revision or addition of certain sections of the Code of Ordinances which are based on or make references to sections of the Kentucky Revised Statues; and

   WHEREAS, it is the intent of Council to accept the updated sections in accordance with the changes of the law of the Commonwealth of Kentucky;

   NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City of Owingsville:

   SECTION 1. That the 2012 S-7 supplement to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Owingsville, Kentucky, as submitted by American Legal Publishing Corporation of Cincinnati, and as attached hereto, be adopted by reference as it set out in its entirety.

   SECTION 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication according to law.

First reading of this ordinance was held on the 13th day of August 2012.

Second reading of this ordinance was held on 10th day of September and upon roll call of vote, was adopted by the council of the City of Owingsville, Kentucky.
