(A) Between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on weekdays (Monday through Saturday), all metered parking spaces on the streets within the city hereinafter named shall be designated as for “shoppers only”, or customers or consumers engaged in business transactions in the business section of the city and for a time period not to exceed two hours:

(B) Parking permits secured from the city will be valid for free parking at any metered parking space within the city, except on the streets listed above.
(C) Persons employed or working in the downtown area shall be restricted from parking in the designated “shoppers only” areas.
(D) Exceptions to the restrictions in this schedule will be made for those persons whose residences are located immediately in the restricted areas.
