§ 50.141 ADJUSTMENTS.
   (A) If a customer requests that a check be made of his meter reading to determine if the customer has a leak in his service line, the customer will be charged $5 for this service as stated in § 50.138. If it is determined that the customer does have a leak, the customer’s sewer bill for the month that the leak occurred will be adjusted to match the customer’s average monthly sewer bill. The water bill for the month that the leak occurred will not be adjusted. If it is determined that the customer does have a leak, and the customer is not connected to sewer, the customer may request that an adjustment be made of his bill by presenting his case to the Mayor or Council.
   (B) If a customer receives billing showing usage in extreme excess of his normal usage, the customer shall present his case to the Mayor or Council. Each case shall be considered on an individual basis.
