(A) Voluntary cutoff. If the city is requested by a customer to disconnect water service on a given date and time and further requested to reconnect water service on a given date and time, the customer shall be billed $20 on the following bill for this disconnection and reconnection of service.
(B) Cutoff for nonpayment of bill. If water service is disconnected on the first day of the following month due to nonpayment of bill as stated in § 50.133, the customer will be required to pay the delinquent bill, the $20 reconnection fee, and the $7.50 late charge prior to service being reconnected.
(C) The reconnection fee of $20 shall be waived for any emergency situation which requires the disconnection and reconnection of water service. Existence of an emergency situation shall be determined by the Mayor or Council.
