(A) Any member shall have the privilege of presenting the name or names of candidates for election to membership in the Volunteer Fire Department.
(B) The Department shall accept applications for membership at any time from eligible individuals. These applications shall be considered by the Procedures Board at such time as an opening becomes available for membership. Upon acceptance of the Procedures Board, the application will be presented to the members present at a regular business meeting for voting purposes. Acceptance upon two-thirds the majority vote (minimum 12 members present required) will be required. The application will be submitted at one business meeting and voted on at the next regular business meeting.
(C) The Procedures Board shall review any request for reinstatement of a firefighter who has been expelled or who has resigned. The members shall then be presented to the membership as provided for in division (B) above.
