The Treasurer of the Department shall receive all money due the Volunteer Fire Department and shall make distribution of those funds as may be necessary. All debts of the Volunteer Fire Department shall be paid by the Treasurer after approval of the members present at a regular business meeting. Other expenditures must be approved by the Fire Chief or Assistant Fire Chief. This position shall require that the individual be bonded in the amount of $10,000 prior to taking office.
