§ 35.71 COMPENSATION; NUMBER OF MEMBERS. 
   The Commission shall be composed of seven members who shall serve without compensation and who shall be citizens, residents, and voters of the city, and who shall be appointed by the Mayor as follows:
   (A)   Two Commissioners from a list of not less than three names submitted by the local city hotel and motel association.
   (B)   One Commissioner from a list of not less than three names submitted by the local county hotel and motel association.
   (C)   One Commissioner from a list of not less than three names submitted by the local restaurant association or associations.
   (D)   One Commissioner from a list of not less than three names submitted by the city Chamber of Commerce.
   (E)   Two Commissioners to be appointed by the Mayor of the City.
   (F)   In the absence of any of the above-named associations, or in the event that any association fails to submit the list, the Mayor of the city shall make the necessary appointment(s) so that the Commission shall at all times be composed of seven members.
   (G)   In the event that the city should ever organize a joint city-county Recreational, Tourist, and Convention Commission, then the appointments shall be made in conformity with KRS Chapter 91A.
