Pursuant to I.C. 36-1-8.5-9, the County Auditor’s office shall restrict access to the home address of a covered person until the covered person submits a written request to the County Auditor’s office to allow public access to the person’s home address on the public property database website. The County Auditor’s office shall take reasonable steps to verify the authenticity of the written request, including requiring the covered person to provide appropriate identification.
