§ 40.015 REAL PROPERTY ENDORSEMENT FEE.
   (A)   Definition. DEED is a signed and usually sealed instrument containing some legal transfer, bargain or contract.
   (B)   Fee. In accordance with I.C. 36-2-9-18(d), the County Auditor may collect a fee of $10 for each deed or legal description of each parcel contained in the deed for which the County Auditor makes a real property endorsement. Such fee shall be in addition to any other fee provided by law. Revenue received under this fee shall be placed in a dedicated fund for use in maintaining plat books.
   (C)   Effective date. The effective date for said fee is July 1, 2019.
