Persons who have verbally or in writing agreed to attend a meeting for which payment has been authorized by the county, and then fails to attend, will be expected to reimburse the county. If the county has been notified of the employee’s canceling, the elected official may, depending on the reason for canceling, opt to waive reimbursement.
