§ 39.095 IMPLEMENTATION.
   (A)   The Board of Commissioners is concerned with the public’s safety and workplace safety for county employees.
   (B)   The Board wishes for employees of the county to be fit for duty and entirely capable of performing all employment duties in a competent and efficient manner.
   (C)   County employees are expected to be in suitable mental and physical condition while at work, performing their jobs satisfactorily and behaving appropriately.
   (D)   The use of alcohol and other drugs by county employees may interfere with such expectations.
   (E)   It is for the above-stated purposes that the county has implemented the following substance abuse policy which indicates testing for the presence of drugs and alcohol.
