§ 38.002 ESTABLISHMENT OF PURCHASING AGENCY.
   (A)   The Board of Commissioners, (the “purchasing agency”), is established as the purchasing agency for the county.
   (B)   The purchasing agency shall have the powers and duties authorized under I.C. 5-22, as may be supplemented from time to time by ordinances adopted by Board of Commissioners.
   (C)   The purchasing agency shall act as the purchasing agency for every agency, board, office, branch, commission, council, department or other establishment of the county.
   (D)   The purchasing agency may designate, in writing, any elected officials, agents and employees of the county as purchasing agents.
