The Superintendent of Maintenance of the Waterworks System shall report to the Board all defects in the water system which his or her inspections reveal and all unsatisfactory connections to the city system from the premises of private users. Such report shall be made in writing to the City Clerk for presentation to the Board or may be made orally at any meeting of the Board of Aldermen. The Superintendent of Maintenance of the Waterworks System shall attend such meetings of the Board of Aldermen as required by the Board.
