§ 33.001 ELECTIVE OFFICERS; TERMS.
   The following officers shall be elected by the qualified voters of the city and shall hold office for the term of two years, except as provided in this section, and until their successors are elected and qualified, to wit: Mayor and Board of Aldermen.
