§ 76.031 PAYMENT IN LIEU OF FINE.
   (A)   Liability for the following designated offenses occurring within the city may be discharged by payment to the city in lieu of a fine, the designated amount listed below.

Payment of the above amount shall be made within 48 hours after receipt of the notice of violation.
 
   (B)   Any person violating the provisions of division (A) above and who does not tender payment within the allotted time, may still discharge their liability by payment to the city of $10 for each violation if said payment is paid within ten days after notice of the violation. If payment is not made after ten days, a complaint may be filed against the offender in the Municipal Division of the Circuit Court, and the violator shall be subject to penalties therein prescribed for such violation.
