§ 30.12 STANDING COMMITTEES.

   At the first regular meeting of the Council, in January of each year, the presiding officer, after consultation with the members, shall appoint the following standing committees, each committee to serve for one year from the date of its appointment, unless otherwise changed by the presiding officer:

   (A)   Committee on Budget;

   (B)   Committee on Development and Planning;

   (C)   Committee on Health;

   (D)   Committee on Economic Development;

   (E)   Committee on Agriculture;

   (F)   Committee on Police;

   (G)   Committee on Roads and Streets;

   (H)   Committee on Parks and Recreation; and

   (I)   Committee on Fire.
