(A) No claim for the publication of town ordinances or official notices shall be allowed until proof of publication has been filed with the Town Clerk.
(B) The Clerk-Treasurer is hereby required, upon presentation of any claim for the publication of town ordinances or official notices, to notify the Council, before action is had thereon, of the compliance or noncompliance of the publisher or other person with the requirements of this section.
