Notwithstanding the usual definition of the word village and municipality found in this code, and notwithstanding any particular provision of the Ottawa Hills Municipal Code, all Village of Ottawa Hills police regulations shall apply on all lands owned by the village and situated outside the corporate limits thereof, to the extent authorized by the statutes of this state.
