§ 174.20 TRIMMING OF TREES AND SHRUBBERY TO PREVENT OBSTRUCTION.
   Section 93.06(A) of the Ohio Basic Code is amended as follows:
   (A)   (1)   (a)   No person, firm or corporation shall hereafter plant, move, alter, or remove any tree or shrub on any public area of the village, nor cause such acts to be done by others, without first obtaining a written permit from the Village Manager.
         (b)   The Village Manager shall issue such permit upon finding that such work is necessary and that the proposed work and methods of workmanship are of a satisfactory nature. All permits shall be issued without requirement of any fee.
         (c)   As a condition of any permit to remove any tree or shrub in any public area of the village, the Village Manager may require that the permitee plant one or more trees or shrubs, acceptable to the village, in place of the one removed.
