Every rental dwelling unit and its premises used whole or in part as a home or residence, for a family or person, shall conform to the requirements of this chapter irrespective of when such building was constructed, altered or repaired. This chapter establishes minimum standards for erected rental dwelling units, accessory structures and related premises. (Prior Code § 7-11-2)
