§ 115.07 SALE OR REDEMPTION; POLICE RESTRICTIONS; WAITING PERIOD.
   (A)   Holding of property.
      (1)   When the Chief of Police, or any member of the police force designated by the Chief of Police, notifies any pawnbroker not to sell any property received on deposit or purchase by him or her, or not to permit the same to be redeemed, the pawnbroker shall not sell nor permit that property to be redeemed until the property is released in writing by the Chief of Police, or his or her designee.
      (2)   No personal property deposited with or purchased by any licensee under this chapter shall be sold or permitted to be redeemed from the place of business of license until 48 hours after the copy of the records required by § 115.06 of this code has been made available to the Police Department, except upon written permission of the Chief of Police.
   (B)   Redemption. Any person who pawns an item shall have at least 60 days to redeem the item before it may be sold.
