§ 72.03 PERMITTED OPERATION.
   The following operation of a snowmobile or all terrain vehicle is allowed within the corporate limits of the city.
   (A)   A snowmobile or all terrain vehicle may be operated on privately owned property within the city only if the operator has in his or her immediate possession written permission signed by the owner of the property allowing that operation, and then only between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. and only if the operator is in compliance with all ordinances and statutes regarding the operation of a snowmobile or all terrain vehicle.
   (B)   A snowmobile or all terrain vehicle may be operated within the city if specifically authorized by the City Council as part of a special event, such as a parade.
   (C)   A snowmobile or all terrain vehicle may be operated within the city by the City Public Works Department for purposes of lawn maintenance, flower watering, snow removal, or other public works functions.
   (D)   A snowmobile or all terrain vehicle may be operated within the city for purposes of removing snow from sidewalks.
   (E)   A snowmobile or all terrain vehicle may be operated within the city in emergency situations as authorized by the City Police Department.
   (F)   A snowmobile or all terrain vehicle may be operated within the city for purposes of loading or unloading the snowmobile or all terrain vehicle at a place of business selling or servicing snowmobiles or all terrain vehicles.
