§ 131.01 ILLEGAL TO PAWN PROPERTY OF ANOTHER.
   (A)   No person may pawn, pledge, sell, leave, or deposit any article of property of another person or entity, whether with or without their permission, nor shall any person pawn, pledge, sell, leave, or deposit any article of property in which another has a security interest with any pawn shop, secondhand goods dealer, or any other seller of goods in the city.
   (B)   No person seeking to pawn, pledge, sell, leave, or deposit any article of property with any pawn shop, secondhand goods dealer, or any other seller of goods in the city, shall give a false or fictitious name, nor give a false date of birth, nor give a false or out-of-date address of residence, nor give a false or out-of- date telephone number, nor present a false or fictitious driver’s license or identification card, nor present the driver’s license or identification card of another, to the pawn shop, secondhand goods dealer or other seller of property.
   (C)   No person seeking to pawn, pledge, sell, leave, or deposit any article of property with any pawn shop, secondhand goods dealer, or any other seller of goods in the city, shall sign a false affirmation that the article of property is not stolen or subject to a lien or encumbrance.
