(A) The purpose of this section is to declare and define the entire corporate boundaries of the town.
(B) The corporate boundary of the town be, and the same is hereby declared, adopted, and defined to be as follows: Beginning at the southeast corner of the west half of the northeast quarter of Section 22, Township 8 North, Range 11 East, and running thence northerly along the east half-quarter line of said Section 22 to the southeast corner of the west half of the southeast quarter of Section 15, Township 8 North, Range 11 East; thence continuing northerly along the east half-quarter line of said Section 15 to the north east corner of the last mentioned west half; thence westerly along the quarter section line of said Section 15 to the east quarter corner of Section 16, Township 8 North, Range 11 East; thence continuing westerly along the quarter section line of said Section 16, 346.5 feet; thence southerly, parallel with the east line of said Section 16, to a point 332.64 feet north of the south line of said Section 16; thence westerly 958.32 feet to the west line of the east half of the southeast quarter of said Section 16; thence southerly with said west line 332.64 feet to the north line of Section 21, Township 8 North, Range 11 East; thence westerly along said north line 264 feet; thence southerly 1,333.2 feet to the north line of the southwest fourth of the northeast quarter of Section 21; thence easterly with said north line 264 feet to the northeast corner of said fourth; thence southerly along east line of said fourth 1,336.5 feet to its southeast corner; thence easterly along the quarter section line of said Section 21, 330 feet; thence southerly parallel to the east line of said Section 21, 2,211 feet; thence easterly parallel to the south line of said Section 21, 1,023 feet to the east line of said Section 21; thence northerly with said east line 533.28 feet; thence easterly parallel with the south line of the aforementioned Section 22, 3,183.18 feet thence northerly parallel with the north-south quarter line of said Section 22 to the south line of the northeast quarter of said Section 22; thence easterly on said south line to the place of beginning.
(C) There shall be impounded in a special fund all municipal property taxes imposed upon the territory annexed by this section for a period of three years after annexation shall take effect, and said impounded taxes shall be used solely for the benefit of such annexed territory, its property owners, and inhabitants in the extension of municipal services and benefits and the making of municipal or public improvements in the annexed territory.
(D) This section was published for two consecutive weeks in the Osgood Journal, a weekly newspaper of general circulation in the town.
