1. It shall be the duty of the owner of the golf cart to register the golf cart at City Hall. The owner or operator shall pay an annual administrative fee of $25 and prior to the issuance of the permit. All permits must be renewed annually. The owner shall file proof of insurance prior to being issued a permit, showing liability coverage in an amount not less than one hundred thousand dollars per person or three hundred thousand dollars per accident, or three hundred thousand dollars combined single limit. Permits shall be void upon sale of the golf cart.
