(A) The Director of Public Works is authorized to place barricades on or within the city’s streets, parking facilities, sidewalks or other public rights-of-ways and to undertake other action as may be necessary to cordon off the route or site of an event authorized by a permit.
(B) In addition the Director of Public Works is authorized to post the route or site of the event as a no-parking zone for the duration of the event, and may do so sufficiently in advance of the event as may be necessary to prevent vehicles from parking along the route or at the site of the event.
