(A) The open burning of leaves, tree branches or limbs is allowed; the open burning of diseased trees, their branches and limbs is permissible after first obtaining a burning permit from the Police Chief. The Police Chief may by rule and regulation control and restrict the issuance of the burning permits. The fee for the issuance of the burning permits shall be set by the Council from time to time by resolution.
(B) The burning of rubbish, trash or other material is prohibited.
