(A) Restriction on turns.
(1) The Council by resolution may, whenever necessary to preserve a free flow of traffic or to prevent accidents, designate any intersection as one where the turning of vehicles to the left or to the right, or both, is to be restricted at all times or during specified hours.
(2) The City Engineer shall mark by appropriate signs any intersections designated.
(3) No intersection on a trunk highway shall be so designated until the consent of the Commissioner of Transportation to the designation is first obtained.
(4) No person shall turn a vehicle at any like intersection contrary to the directions on the signs.
(B) U-turns.
(1) No person shall turn a vehicle so as to reverse its direction or turn more than 90 degrees for the purpose of entering a parking spot on any street or at any intersection where traffic is regulated by a traffic control signal.
(2) It shall also be a violation of this section to make a U-turn in any area posted with a “No U-Turn” sign.
(C) Other turning. No person shall turn a motor vehicle so as to proceed in the opposite direction upon any street, highway or alley within the City of Osakis except at an intersection of 2 streets where it is not posted that the turn is forbidden.
