(a) Numbers shall start running from zero from the intersection of U.S. Highway 322 and State Route 45, towards the limits of the Village, even numbers being used only upon the right hand side, odd numbers being used only upon the left side, facing away from said intersection. This applies to North Maple Street, South Maple Street, East Main Street and West Main Street.
(b) All other streets within the Village shall be numbered from zero beginning with the intersection of such a street with U.S. Route 322, State Route 45, or the intersection of the projection of said street with U.S. 322 or State Route 45, whichever is more nearly perpendicular to said street.
