212.04   PROCEDURES FOR USE OF PAGERS.
   (a)   Use of Pagers.  Full-time Village personnel and volunteer fire department personnel will be issued a pager.  All personnel issued pagers shall ensure that the pager is on and functioning properly.  All personnel are responsible for notifying their supervisor when their pagers are not working properly.
   (b)   Operation of Pagers.  Personnel issued pagers shall ensure the pager is turned on, in proper working condition and located where they can receive and answer pages at all times.  Employees shall operate the pager in silent mode when attending meetings, training or other group settings in which it would be proper to use the pager in silent mode.
   (c)   Pager Numbers.  Department heads and the Village Clerk-Treasurer shall maintain a list of all pager numbers. Just as the Village does not give out employee home phone numbers, employee pager numbers shall not be given out by anyone other than the employee it is issued to. In the event an employee pager number is requested, the person receiving the request shall offer to page the employee and enter a contact number for the requesting person.
