210.02 NATIONAL INCIDENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM ADOPTED.

(a) All departments, offices, and agencies of the Village shall utilize the National Incident Management System (NIMS) prescribed by the Department of Homeland Security, as implemented by the Village Chief of Police.

(b) The Village Chief of Police shall determine the timetable and steps necessary for the expedient implementation of this resolution.

(c) The Village Chief of Police will begin training on NIMS and revise the Village Emergency Operations Plan as soon as practicable.
