8-2-5: REPLACEMENT OR REPAIR OF EXISTING SIDEWALKS:
Existing sidewalks of the city must be replaced by the owners of abutting property or must be repaired to the satisfaction of the city building inspector whenever the following conditions exist:
   A.   The surface of the sidewalk has become eroded to a depth in excess of one-half inch (1/2") extending over an area of not less than four (4) square inches or judged to be hazardous to pedestrian travel;
   B.   The surface of the sidewalk has settled, raised or shifted out of line more than two inches (2") from the adjacent sections or adjoining sections jut above each other more than one-quarter inch (1/4");
   C.   Sidewalks have acquired loose or broken sections or edges. (1973 Code § 12.04.180; amd. Ord. 2021-1084, 1-26-2022)
