521.07 BARBED WIRE OR ELECTRIC FENCES.

(a) No person shall use barbed wire or electric fences which are placed so as to be adjacent to sidewalks or property lines in residential areas, except on the top of commercial fences which are six feet or more in height.

(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
